Garberville, nestled in the mountains above the Eel River in Humboldt County, is a bustling community established in 1873 by Jacob Garber. Since its beginning it has been a thriving center for travelers and surrounding ranches. Today it has 11 restaurants and fast food/deli operations, three major service stations, a super market, gift shops, and all the stores necessary to serve travelers and the local residents. With only 2,000 residents it serves a surrounding population of approximately 15,000.


Your hosts, the Johnson and Wagner families, have been Humboldt County residents since 1883 and 1902 respectively. Pacific Plaza Hotels has worked with the owners since 2008 and together we look forward to serving your hospitality needs.
